2010 Region III Education Institute

This year the Upper Great Plains Region III Institute is once again being held at the beautiful and  accommodating Northland Inn of Brooklyn Park, MN.  In addition to 12 days of ICC seminars, this year's management track will be highlighted by an advanced legal aspects session as well as a session presented by Ron Piester, ICC Board of Directors, titled "Challenges of the Code Official."  The activities will include the popular Sunday hospitality room, Tuesday night dinner outing, the Region III Banquet on Wednesday evening, Region III and AMBO membership meetings, and the annual Region III Presidents Summit dinner meeting. The meeting schedule has been adjusted to accommodate regional attendance at both the membership meetings and the Presidents Summit on the same day. AMBO is offering a free day of registration to any ICC Chapter President
who attends the Presidents Summit meeting.  The most notable change for 2010 is the added partnership with fi re officials in the development of a fi re code education track. This partnership has been initiated between AMBO and the Fire Marshals Association of MN (FMAM). FMAM joined the Region in 2007 and is helping to broaden the Regional perspective by their participation.
